As the Facilities & Maintenance Support at Vision Express, you will oversee the efficient management of Facilities & Maintenance across 723 stores and 2 Support Offices for Vision Express and EssilorLuxottica in the UK & Ireland.

Your primary responsibilities will ensure that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, supporting the overall productivity and wellbeing of the organisation. You will play a key role in managing relationships with stakeholders and maintaining service standards with our facilities providers.

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

Planned Maintenance: 

Manage contractor/supplier performance, ensuring delivery of all KPI services. These services will include but not limited to: air conditioning, fire risk assessments, lighting maintenance, and water hygiene risk assessments.

Reactive Maintenance: 

Oversee daily management of CAFM systems, ensuring timely completion of jobs based on service level agreements (SLAs).

Act as the escalation point for key stakeholders and maintain communication with Store and Regional Managers regarding ongoing maintenance requirements.

Head Office Facilities Management Support: 

Assist with planned statutory and preventative maintenance, catering support, grounds maintenance, cleaning, security, waste management, and reception support at the Head Offices.

Financial Management: 

Process internal purchase orders and validate invoicing related to maintenance tasks.

 

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 

 

Knowledge of facilities management preferred

Previous experience as a coordinator or similar role would be advantageous.

Basic knowledge of statutory compliance with legislation and British Standards would be preferred – training and opportunities to upskill will be provided.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for this role.
