Role overview

As a Legal Counsel at Vision Express, you’ll play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal support. Your expertise in commercial and consumer protection law will be invaluable. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, EMEA, at EssilorLuxottica, you’ll collaborate closely with our in-house solicitor, who specialises in property and real estate matters.

In this dynamic position, you’ll cultivate relationships across the business, working with various stakeholders and brand umbrellas. Operating in a bustling environment with diverse tasks, you’ll offer guidance on commercial contracting and provide support on consumer protection law inquiries, particularly consumer complaints. Your passion for service will support our ambition to See More and Be More, and we’ll support you to continuously learn and grow with Vision Express.

Who is the perfect candidate?

  • A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years experience, demonstrating proficiency in commercial and consumer protection law
  • Experienced in both in-house and practice settings, showcasing adaptability and a holistic understanding of legal nuances
  • Specialised knowledge in commercial and consumer law, with a focus on practical applications within a corporate context
  • Confident in building robust relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust to achieve common objectives
  • Demonstrates sharp analytical skills, enabling the identification of legal risks and the formulation of effective strategies to mitigate them.
