FP&A Analyst

We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in a hybrid role based between Ruddington and remotely. In this exciting role you will be delivering accurate, informative, and value-adding Financial Planning and Analysis to several different Stakeholders throughout the business and wider Group.

What can you expect from the role?

This opportunity will see you:

• business partner directly with the Head of Commercial Finance to accurately forecast commercial and accounting sales.
• maintain overhead cost control by directly partnering with VE exec members.
• and become a finance systems super-user.

You will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Manager in all aspects of group reporting to our parent company EssilorLuxottica. This will include the annual Budget process, quarterly & monthly reforecast submissions, and month end reporting.

Other responsibilities include:

• Assisting the FP&A Manager in their role as finance business partner to the CEO & CFO, preparing analysis ahead of key meetings.
• Maintaining finance systems to ensure all changes within the commercial space are accurately reflected.
• Continuing the overall maintenance of store budgets, ensuring sales plans and store P&L’s are accurate and regularly updated.

About you

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone who is CIMA (or Equivalent) qualified with experience of budgeting/forecasting in a similar FP&A environment. You will also need to have an analytical and inquisitive mindset with strong knowledge of Oracle (Essbase) preferred.
